From Runway to Riverbed: Kai Tak’s Green Rebirth
Once the beating heart of Hong Kong’s international connection, Kai Tak is shedding its "concrete jungle" skin to reveal a vibrant, living landscape. Where planes once roared, a new urban sanctuary is taking root.
The revitalization of the Kai Tak River is more than just a renovation; it is a botanical escape designed to disrupt the grey monotony of the city. By integrating lush greenery and flowing water into the district’s industrial heritage, we have created a "local back garden" that rivals the serenity of Nam Sang Wai. Visitors are invited to trade the city's frantic pace for a rendezvous with nature—a place where the air is fresh, the birds return, and the mind finds its peace.
