Afloat Studio is a vibrant architectural and interior design practice based in Hong Kong. Specializing in the exploration of “in-between” spatial dynamics, the practice employs blurred boundaries to craft intricate, immersive experiences that harmonize architecture with human interaction. Co-founders Kong Pui Sze Jessica and Lam Ho Wang Owen, both registered architects, are dedicated to expanding creative horizons across diverse projects.

 

Their notable accomplishments include international and regional honours, such as the First Prize in the 57th Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition, the First Prize in the Design Ideas Competition for Kai Tak River, hosted by Hong Kong’s Civil Engineering and Development Department and Home Journal the TOP 50 best designer.

 

Owen has been recognized with the HKIA Young Architect Award and the Perspective 40 Under 40.

 

The studio seamlessly tailors solutions to clients’ visions, transcending styles to evoke emotion through colours and textures, come up with unique solutions, and uplift spaces via engaging interactions.
